iBuildNet 4.0 offers single solution for all indoor and outdoor environments
At this month’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, innovative and fast growing UK-based Ranplan is set to launch iBuildNet 4.0, the latest version of its powerful suite of tools for combined indoor and outdoor wireless network planning, deployment and optimisation.
iBuildNet 4.0 is an all-in-one, heterogeneous network planning, optimisation and simulation solution for Small Cells, DAS and Wi-Fi across indoor and outdoor environments. It is the only radio planning tool that delivers combined indoor and outdoor modelling capabilities and keeps pace with growing coverage and capacity complexities presented by 5G and the Internet of Things.
iBuildNet 4.0 can be used for all indoor and outdoor scenarios including, in-building only; combined indoor and outdoor hetnets for facilities such as campuses and stadiums; outdoor urban and rural locations; as well as complex underground environments including tunnels and shopping malls. iBuildNet has also been designed to work with emerging 5G technology and for the design of critical public safety networks. Ranplan will be showing demonstrations of how iBuildNet can be used in all these different scenarios throughout Mobile World Congress.
“We have developed iBuildNet to allow indoor and outdoor networks to be designed, deployed and optimised in coordination and at the lowest cost,” said Alastair Williamson, CEO at Ranplan. “Mobile World Congress provides an ideal global platform to demonstrate the potential of coordinated indoor/outdoor RF planning and show why at Ranplan, we understand radio planning inside and out.”
Ranplan will also be publishing its new whitepaper: ‘Data Driven Radio Access Network Planning and Optimisation for IoT’. The paper details how data analytics techniques can be used to identify traffic hot spots, characterise traffic behaviour and provide information for proactive network optimisation, caching and mobile edge computing.
Ranplan can be found in Hall 7, Stand 7C12 at Mobile World Congress.
